Eltex Italia was born in 1956, with the acquisition by the Giardini family of a French patent for products to be produced and sold in Italy.
The first factory was born in Castiglione del Lago, Umbria, where the company’s manufacture and administrative offices are still located.
Eltex Italia chose from the beginning to focus on quality. In Umbria, it was the first company ever to obtain the ISO9001 Quality Certification, and the first of its category in Italy.
Today Eltex Italia produces and sells transformers, autotransformers, reattances, voltage stabilizers, uninterruptible power supplies, electronic ballasts and many other products related to energy distribution.
